Hockey Captain Spotlight

The Minnesota Wild and West Bend Mutual Insurance will be launching a new captain spotlight program beginning this season. The West Bend Hockey Captain Spotlight program will honor two high school hockey captains per month, November through March. Candidates will be chosen based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrates a passion for the sport of hockey
  • Exemplifies leadership and hard work on the ice and in the classroom
  • Exhibits qualities of a good teammate
  • Contributes to their local community
  • Goes above and beyond to help create a greater State of Hockey

The ten honorees will receive two tickets to the Minnesota Wild game against the Boston Bruins on Thursday, April 4, a custom Wild jersey and be highlighted on the video board and on Wild social media the day of the game. Only high school hockey coaches may nominate their captains for this award.
