The Dallas Stars Rookies program is a free 5-week program for kids ages 4-8 who are interested in playing the game of hockey for the first time. Each day during the program, kids are provided with all equipment necessary for a fun and safe experience. Trained coaches will help your child begin their path toward a cool and exciting new activity.

All participants will be invited to a fitting date on the first week of the program, followed by 30 minute sessions of on-ice instruction for four weeks. Participants will receive all equipment for the program and a Dallas Stars Rookies jersey for them to keep! Participants will have the option to purchase their gear bag or return it at the end of the program.

The Little Rookies Program is open to first time participants only. Programs rotate throughout locations four times a year. Please select a location and check back soon for updated program dates.

March: McKinney

April: Euless, Mansfield, McKinney, Richardson

May: Frisco and Plano (with one session in April)
