Ford Ice Center Policies

Ford Ice Center is a cashless facility.

Ford Ice Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. All guests shall remain respectful and courteous to their fellow patrons and to comply with requests from Ford Ice Center staff regarding Ford Ice Center's policies, emergency response procedures and behavior which impacts the event experience of fellow spectators.

All guests, skaters, coaches and parents/guardians are required to abide by all of the rules and regulations set by the Ford Ice Center, and to cooperate with all directions from Ford Ice Center personnel and coaching staff. It is essential to treat our rink and its personnel with courtesy and respect.

Assumption of Risk

Guests at Ford Ice Center assume all risks and danger of personal injury arising from, or related in any way to, admission to the Ford Ice Center and including specifically, but not limited to, the danger of being on or near an ice surface, injured by ice skates, pucks, sticks, injuries that result from collisions or contact with other skaters, injuries from falls and/or injuries that involve objects or artificial structures that within the path of the skater.

Guests agree that the Ford Ice Center and its employees are expressly released by guests for claims arising from such causes. Guests further agrees to abide by the policies of the Ford Ice Center and the instructions of Ford Ice Center personnel. By guests' presence at Ford Ice Center or participation in any activity at Ford Ice Center, Guests consent to the above assumption of risk and to the use of his/her image, without payment or consideration, in any news broadcasts, commercial broadcasts, advertising or promotional publicity.

Ford Ice Center is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles.

Ford Ice Center reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the ice or building at any time for any reason.

Alcohol
  • Alcohol is not permitted to be brought inside the facility.
  • Alcohol is available for purchase at the concession stand for Guests with valid IDs that are 21 years of age and older.
  • Alcohol purchased at Ford Ice Center is not allowed to be brought outside.
Accessibility

Ford Ice Center Clarksville: Accessible Entrance located at the F&M Bank Arena entrance at 2nd St & College St. Please utilize the call button to gain entry.

Carry-In & Contraband Items
  • Guests are prohibited from bringing weapons, firearms, fireworks or dangerous devices of any type into Ford Ice Center.
  • Guests found in possession of contraband items will be subject to expulsion from the facility and the contraband items confiscated.
  • Guests are prohibited from bringing illegal drugs and alcohol into Ford Ice Center.
Children
  • Parents are responsible for watching their own children at all times. Children ages 13 years and younger cannot be left unattended in the lobby. Children ages 5 years and younger may not be left unattended on the ice; unless participating in a class or event.
Drug Use or Possession

Ford Ice Center has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for Drug Use or Possession

The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If a guest is found intoxicated at the door, security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Ford Ice Center reserves the right to search all bags, pockets, coats, sweaters, etc.

Every attendee is subject to search prior to entry into the Ford Ice Center or upon reasonable suspicion.

Events
  • Only events that have been previously approved and scheduled with Ford Ice Center staff are allowed.
  • Parties or events that have not been scheduled will be asked to leave.
Filming/Photography
  • Filming or taking pictures while on the ice is prohibited.
  • Photography and filming are prohibited in the locker rooms, restrooms and other areas where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy.
  • Photographers are not permitted on concrete areas, behind the player's benches, in the scorekeeper's box or in the penalty boxes. Photographers are welcome to take photos from the bleachers or from the upstairs viewing deck.
Food & Beverage
  • Food and beverage from outside the facility are prohibited from coming inside the facility (exception: sports drink and bottled water).
Health & Safety

All Ford Ice Center locations support the wearing of masks for any guest who chooses to do so.

We will continue to monitor available data and recommendations from our government agency partners at the local, state and federal levels and make any necessary changes as new data and recommendations become available to us. Additional guidance can be found on the CDC's COVID-19 Website.

Intoxicated Guests
  • Intoxicated guests are not admitted into Ford Ice Center at any time. If you see an intoxicated person enter Ford Ice Center, please contact building security or police. Intoxicated guests are subject to ejection from the facility.
Locker Rooms & Restrooms
  • Photography and filming are prohibited in the locker rooms.
  • No loud or vulgar music allowed.
Loitering
  • Loitering or soliciting are not permitted.
  • Ford Ice Center reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the ice or building at any time for any reason.
Lost & Found
  • Ford Ice Center is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles. Lost and Found is located at the front desk. Items will be retained for 15 days. Lost water bottles, socks, towels and other frequently abandoned or lost items will not be retained.
On Ice
  • Before getting on the ice, a waiver must be signed by the participant or if the participant is a minor by the minor's legal guardian.
  • No one is allowed on the ice during resurfacing. Zamboni doors must be closed before anyone is permitted onto the surface.
  • At no point should guests without ice skates be on the ice (postgame pictures, trophy presentations etc.).
  • Proper footwear is required for each guest at each particular event.
  • Backpacks and large bags are not permitted on the ice.
Rules of the Ice Rinks
  1. Before getting on the ice a waiver must be signed by the participant or if the participant is a minor by the minor's legal guardian.
  2. At no point should guests without ice skates be on the ice (post-game pictures, Trophy presentations etc.).
  3. Proper footwear is required for each guest at each particular event.
  4. All skaters must purchase a public session sticker and visibly affix that sticker to their clothing.
  5. No food or beverages allowed on the ice at any time.
  6. Socks must be worn at all times when using rental skates.
  7. Patron may not sit on, lean over or leave articles on the dasher boards.
  8. All exits are to be kept clear at all times.
  9. Incidents or malicious destruction are to be reported to the manager/supervisor immediately.
  10. Please use caution when entering and exiting the ice.
  11. Keep out of all unassigned locker rooms, scorekeeping areas, locked or marked 'no entry' areas.
  12. Roughness, excessive speeding, skating against the crowd or weaving through other skaters is prohibited.
  13. No horseplay or running while on the ice. This includes TAG, chain skating, throwing snowballs, racing and intentionally sliding.
  14. Do not pick holes, chop or alter/damage the ice in any way.
  15. No more than two people can skate together.
  16. Guests are not allowed to carry children or secondary items such as cameras, handbags, etc. while skating.
  17. Guests are not allowed to walk with skates on areas not covered by rubber matting.
  18. Hockey sticks and pucks are not allowed on the ice during open skate.
  19. No stick or puck play allowed outside the ice surface. Stick or puck play is not permitted in general/lobby areas.
  20. Skateboards, razor scooters, rollerblades and bicycles are not allowed inside the rink.
  21. Ford Ice Center reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the ice or building at any time for any reason.
  22. "Pitch In" and deposit all trash in the receptacles provided. We are proud of our facility. Please keep it clean.
  23. All skaters, coaches, and parents/guardians are required to abide by all of the rules and regulations set by the Ford Ice Center, and to cooperate with all directions from rink and coaching staff. This is our "home" and it is essential to treat our rink and its personnel with courtesy and respect.
