Gritty claus

If rockin' around the Christmas tree like Gritty is your idea of a good time, you've struck holiday gold.

The transcendent Philadelphia Flyers mascot released his "Quarantine Christmas" playlist on Spotify, comprised of 73 festive hits from the likes of Nat King Cole, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen, as well as copious amounts of Vancouver Canucks fan Michael Buble, and the hidden gem of Christmas tunes, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by DMX.
"DID YOU KNOW MICHAEL BUBBLEY ISN'T THE ONLY PERSON THAT SINGS CHRISTMAS MUSIC????" Gritty says in the playlist's description. "IDGAFeliz who's list u on, if you luv HOLLY JOLLY BANGERZ, start here."

Of course, no gesture from Gritty would be complete without a sprinkling of signature googly-eyed flair. There is an auxiliary collection called, "The Perfect Christmas Playlist," which he describes as, "Two straight hours of EXACTLY what you want for Christmas. You're welcome. Joyeux Noël!"
The list consists of "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey 29 times. Some of the renditions are the original and some are by other artists, but, yes, it is just the one song for one hour and 51 minutes.
Because, well, 2020 has been a rough year for everyone and overdoing it with something that brings you joy is not only totally OK, but definitely encouraged.
