Coyotes Sign Kallgren to Two-Year Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have signed goaltender Erik Kallgren to a two-year entry-level contract. As per Club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 22-year-old Kallgren has posted a 18-12-0 record with five shutouts, a 2.02 goals against average (GAA) and a .920 save percentage (SV%) in 32 games with AIK (Sweden-1) this season. The 6-foot-3, 198-pound native of Stockholm, SE went 16-11-0 with two shutouts, a 2.42 GAA and a .907 SV% in 28 games with AIK last season.
Kallgren was drafted by the Coyotes in the seventh round (183rd overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
