Lightning select F Maxim Groshev with pick No. 85

In the Third Round of the 2020 NHL Draft with the 85th overall pick, the Tampa Bay Lightning selected Russian winger Maxim Groshev.

Groshev has played 10 games for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the KHL in 2020-21, recording one assist.
The 18 year old is a left-hand shot and can play either the left or the right wing.
Groshev measures in at 6-foot-2, 194 pounds. He is the 25th rated skater coming into the 2020 NHL Draft by NHL Central Scouting.
