Aaron Schneekloth

Assistant Coach

Schneekloth joins Seattle as a veteran of over 600 games as a player during his career, spending time in the AHL, ECHL, and CHL. After playing collegiate hockey at the University of North Dakota, he began his pro career in 2001 and went on to have significant stints with teams including the St. John’s Maple Leafs, Houston Aeros, and ultimately the Colorado Eagles, where he played from 2006 until his retirement in 2013. Following his playing career, Schneekloth joined the Eagles’ coaching staff as an assistant and was named head coach in 2016. In his two seasons as head coach, he led the team to back-to-back Kelly Cup championships in 2017 and 2018 before the franchise transitioned to the AHL.
