- The Kraken generated 43.9-percent of all 5-on-5 shot volume equating to 23.5-percent of 5-on-5 shot quality. They won the volume battle in period one (51.6%) and the second was their strongest in terms of shot quality (47.3%).
- Per Evolving-Hockey.com, Philipp Grubauer saved 3.35 above expectations. That stands as his third best game for Seattle and the fifth best of his NHL career. It’s also his eighth quality start of the season.
- Eeli Tolvanen had a 2-1-3 stat line tonight – extending his point streak to six games. That ties a career high (Mar. 21-30, 2021, Nashville) and sets a new high for his tenure with the Kraken.
- Jordan Eberle extended his goal streak to three games and now has 14 goals in the first 36 games. That’s the second best start of his career in the first 36 games (his best was 2011-12 when he scored a total of 34 goals in 78 games).
- Adam Larsson and Jared McCann led the way in shot attempts with six each (in 5-on-5 play), Tolvanen, Matty Beniers and McCann led the team in individual shot quality.
- Beniers led the Kraken’s transition game with five controlled entries and 11 controlled exits.
- According to Game Score, the best Seattle players in the game were Tolvanen (also first overall), Grubauer (also second overall), Chandler Stephenson and Eberle.
