A look at the game “by the numbers.”

The Kraken held pretty close to even with Winnipeg in this game, creating 49.7-percent of all 5-on-5 shot volume, equaling 49.9-percent of all shot quality.

This was the earliest in the season that the Kraken have earned a shutout (the previous best was game 12 in 2022-23).

The Kraken became the first team to shut out the Jets in Winnipeg since the Flyers did so on Jan. 13, 2024.

The Jets had not been shut out in their last 72 regular-season games. They were shut out only one time last year by the Florida Panthers.

Seattle’s penalty kill kept the third-best power play in the league off the scoresheet. It’s the third time this season the Kraken PK has been perfect in a game.

Joey Daccord recorded his first shutout of the season and the sixth of his Kraken career. That extends the record for the most in franchise history.

Daccord prevented 2.7 more goals than he should have based on the shot quality he faced and earned his third quality start of the season.

The game-winning goal was Jaden Schwartz’s ninth with the Kraken. That ties him with Eeli Tolvanen and Alex Wennberg for the third most in franchise history

Jaden Schwartz (2-1—3) posted his sixth multi-goal game with the Kraken and tied Jordan Eberle for second most in franchise history. His seventh three-point game with Seattle also overtook Vince Dunn for sole possession of third most with the club.

The two Kraken goal scorers (Schwartz and Eberle) led the way in individual shot quality for their team.

The fourth line of Ben Meyers, centering Ryan Winterton and Tye Kartye, had the largest shot volume advantage over Winnipeg, going plus-6 in 5:10 of play. Kartye and Winterton were the top two Kraken skaters in terms of offensive zone possession time.

Shane Wright’s line with Schwartz and Jani Nyman had the biggest advantage in shot quality, creating 74-percent in 7:43 of play together.

Chandler Stephenson’s line had the primary responsibility of shutting down the Jets’ powerful top line of Mark Schiefele, Kyle Connor, and Gabe Vilardi and they succeeded. 11:36 of Stephenson’s line’s 13:46 was spent in that match, and the Kraken trio still ended up with a plus-1 shot attempt advantage and 66.3 percent of all shot quality.
