The Detroit Red Wings are committed to improving literacy by offering a season long reading program to Michigan teachers at no cost. The Red Wings for Reading Program supports the existing reading curriculum in grades K-5 by encouraging students to increase the minutes they spend reading both in school and at home.

STEM Day at Little Caesars Arena is designed to inspire students by showing how STEM is part of real-world careers—both on and off the ice. Through interactive experiences and behind-the-scenes learning opportunities, students explore the science, technology, engineering, and math that power the game of hockey and the many industries connected to live sports and entertainment.
