With the weather forecast for tomorrow’s Game 5 Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party calling for rain, True North wants to ensure an enjoyable experience for fans and reminds everyone attending the Street Party to dress for the weather.

Jets Gear will have limited quantities of clear ponchos for sale at the Street Party. Umbrellas will not be permitted in the Street Party so please be sure to have other forms of rain gear.

True North’s priority is to maintain a safe, responsible and fun community event and we thank Street Party attendees for remaining respectful and contributing to the spirit of community that the events are intended to create.

Guests are reminded of the measures that continue to be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all:

  • Anyone appearing under 30 will be subject to an ID check upon entry.
  • Wristbands are required to indicate legal drinking age
  • Additional ID checks can be expected for those appearing under 30, even with a wristband.
  • Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority (LGCA) Liquor Compliance personnel will be on site conducting random checks throughout the event.
  • Underage drinking and purchasing alcoholic beverages for a minor are both causes for eviction, LGCA fines and even arrest.
  • A one-drink per order limit will be in place for the majority of the event (effective at puck drop)
  • Bars close 10 minutes into the third period
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed in the general street party area. A designated smoking area exists, however use of cannabis is not permitted within this area, or anywhere on site and is cause for eviction.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid lineups and congestion. The event offers four entrances to accommodate fans coming from all directions – see map.
