Jim Montgomery

Head Coach

Jim Montgomery was named head coach on Nov. 24, 2024. Prior to signing a five-year deal with the Blues, Montgomery led the Bruins to the top regular-season record and point total in the NHL (120-41-23, 263 points) as well as consecutive playoff appearances in 2023 and 2024. In 2022-23, he guided the Bruins to the Presidents’ Trophy after a record-breaking season and captured the 2022-23 Jack Adams Award for coach of the year.

David Alexander

Director of Goaltending

A Moncton, NB native, David comes to the Blues from the Syracuse Crunch, where he served as goaltending coach for 4 seasons. While in Syracuse, David worked with standout goaltenders Andrei Vasilevsky, Kristers Gudlevskis and Mike McKenna.

Elliott Mondou

Video Coach

A Shawinigan, QC native, Elliott Mondou joined the Blues as video coordinator in the summer of 2022. His previous work includes serving as video coach for Hockey Canada, having experience with the men's olympic team in the Beijing Olympics, and capturing gold at the 2022 World Juniors. Prior to joining Hockey Canada, he won the 2018 Memorial Cup as video coach with the CHL's Shawinigan Cataractes. Mondou currently lives in Clayton and is completing his bachelor's degree in finance.
