On Thursday morning, Flames head coach Ryan Huska provided an update on the status of defenceman Jake Bean.
"Jake's going to have surgery here, coming up, and he's going to be out indefinitely for us. He's been dealing with something for quite awhile now so unfortunately for him, this is the stage that is it at now."
The 27-year-old has played in 16 games with the Flames this season, scoring one goal and two points in 2025-26.
