DIRECTV has announced a new multi-year distribution agreement to carry Blue Note+ for fans in the Blues broadcast territory.
The agreement makes Blue Note+ available to customers of DIRECTV (CHOICE and higher packages) and U-Verse (U200 and above).
Fans can find Blue Note+ on DIRECTV channel 673 or U-Verse channels 1747/747, beginning with the Oct. 24 game between the St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes.
The agreement also provides distribution rights for each NHL team to all of DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS’s sports bars, restaurants, fitness clubs and other commercial venues within the Blues broadcast territory.
“We are committed to keeping fans connected to their favorite teams and giving them more choice and flexibility in how they watch and what they pay,” said Rob Thun, Chief Content Officer at DIRECTV. “As local sports distribution evolves, DIRECTV brings team channels, regional sports networks, and other viewing options together to make it easier for fans to follow the teams they love. We’re pleased to work with the NHL, NBA, MLB, and others to deliver that experience.”
In addition to DIRECTV and U-Verse, Blue Note+ is available on Prime Video, Spectrum and Fubo.
