Believe It Or Not, it's time for The CannonBall

From the moment the invitation to this year's version of The CannonBall arrives, it's clear from the enclosed decoder glasses that this won't be any ordinary party.
In fact, the party of the year in Columbus will test the boundaries of reality. With the theme "Believe It Or Not," the annual celebration that also serves as a fundraiser for the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation is sure to surprise and delight.
What does that mean? Think optical illusions you have to see to believe, food combinations that will turn heads, and the usual compelling program fans have come to expect. And don't forget the chance to interact with Blue Jackets players as they spend an unbelievable night celebrating for a good cause.

"The CannonBall is an opportunity for our community to have a great time while supporting the health and wellness of children in central Ohio," said Katie Matney, executive director of the CBJ Foundation. "Proceeds from this event support The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation's goal to support meaningful change right here in central Ohio."
The CannonBall has become one of the must-see events in the city each year. All money raised benefits the CBJ Foundation, which dedicates time, resources and financial support to organizations making a difference in the areas of pediatric cancer, reading, fitness through play and the growth and development of amateur hockey.
The foundation has provided more than $11.4 million to our community since the team's inception in 2000. The CannonBall is its biggest single fundraiser each year, with last year's event bringing in $525,000.
