CHARLES BROOKHART, Jan. 13, Calgary
During the Jan. 13 game vs. the Calgary Flames, we welcomed United States Coast Guard Petty Officer First Class Charles Brookhart.
From Burke, Virginia, Petty Officer First Class Brookhart enlisted with the Coast Guard in April 2000. He spent several years stationed in Florida, where he served as a Search and Rescue Controller, before transferring to the New York sector where he continued with search and rescue operations. He was later transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Thetis serving as a Combat Information Center Watch Supervisor.
