Every child deserves a toy at the holidays. Unfortunately, not every family can provide that holiday cheer.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are asking fans to support The Salvation Army of Central Ohio's efforts to brighten the holidays for local families in need. The Salvation Army operates central Ohio's largest holiday toy and food distribution program. They provide food and toys to nearly 8,000 families over a two-day period. Christmas Cheer provides a true holiday experience for families that may need a little help this time of year. The toy drive gives that program a big boost by offering the 5th Line a chance to provide the toys the Salvation Army will give away in its Christmas Cheer program in mid-December.

How To Donate

Fans coming to the December 4th game against the Detroit Red Wings are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy. Before the game, toys will be accepted by volunteers outside the arena entrances. Fans who donate that night will receive a voucher redeemable for a buy one get one ticket offer. (Offer limited to one per household)

If fans are not able to join us for the game they can drop off toys from November 17 to December 12 at any OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rink located in Easton, Dublin, and North or at the Blue Line stores located at Nationwide Arena and Polaris Fashion Place.
