On March 7, 2026, the Columbus Blue Jackets hosted Girls Hockey Day presented by Bread Financial, at Nationwide Arena for 70 female hockey players between the ages of 6 to 14 years old.

The event included an on-ice clinic, an off-ice activity, a Q&A panel discussion, and a special appearance from Kristin King, Team USA Olympic Medalist. This initiative further advances the team's commitment to growing the game of hockey by providing a girl's-only experience and fostering community.
