Troy Parchman is in his 24th year with the Chicago Blackhawks after joining the organization in 1994. A native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Parchman has more than 33 years of equipment management experience. He served as Equipment Manager for the University of Saskatchewan football and hockey teams from 1982-88 while earning undergraduate degrees in physical education and sociology.
From 1988-94, Parchman served as Equipment Manager for the Canadian national hockey team, where he worked consecutive World Championships from 1991-94.
Parchman was selected to provide equipment management services for the Canadian hockey squad at the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympics, as well as the 2003 NHL All-Star Game and 2004 World Championship. He most recently served on the equipment staff for Team North America at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
He and his wife, Whitney, have a son, Evan, and reside in the suburbs.
