Each school receives a one hour clinic from the Blackhawks youth hockey staff and P.E. teachers are invited to a training session at the United Center.

Using the fast-paced, exciting game of hockey as a learning vehicle, the program helps students understand the real world applications of science and math principles.
The Chicago Blackhawks Reading Program is designed to encourage students grades 2-6 to to read in and out of the classroom. This program helps students get excited to read throughout the hockey season by rewarding them with great prizes! Each student will get a reading log sheet to track the number of pages they read at home and in the classroom.
