We are happy to announce that the Legends Cup returns for another year, running from March 24-26, 2023! You don't want to miss this unforgettable experience.

As part of one of the four teams, participants are guaranteed to compete in four games as well as one practice and video session. Three Blackhawks alumni will play on each team, accompanied by a celebrity coach, in the battle to win The Legends Cup. Cost to participate is $7,000 and guests to participate (non-playing participant) is $3,000.

It's not just a fantasy camp, it's the Legends Cup.

2023 Legends Cup Stats

Do I need to be Vaccinated to participate?
Yes, you will need to be fully vaccinated to participate

What do I get to take home?
You will get team issued gear including: Pants, Gloves, Shell, Socks, and home and away authentic jerseys. You will also receive exclusive Blackhawks warmups and a swag bag of Legends Cup items.

Does my entry include a ticket to Sundays game?
Yes, the Legends Cup participants will be in an 80-Person Suite for the game vs the Tampa Bay Lightning on March 6th, 2022

Can I bring a guest?
Yes, you may bring one guest for an additional fee of $2,000. All guests must be fully vaccinated

The Guest will have access to:

Blackhawks Watch Party Saturday inside Blackhawks locker room at Fifth Third Arena with Alumni

Can my friends and family come watch the games?
Yes, Fifth Third Arena is open to the public and all practices and games will be open for attendance.

Can my guest or a spouse stay in the hotel room with me?
Yes, the hotel room is yours Thursday through Sunday.

What skill level is the Legends Cup?
It will be varying skill, but each team will be balanced based on experience and playing history. B/C level should be expected.

Is this a non-checking tournament?
Yes, this is a no-check tournament with an emphasis on camaraderie and fun.

I am local, do I have to take the hotel room?
Yes, the hotel room is a part of your package. We will have transportation to and from the hotel and recommend staying downtown. You are not required to stay at the hotel but there will be no discount if you don't.

Do I need to be at all games/events?
No, but there is no discount if you miss individual events.

Am I covered for food and drinks throughout the camp?
Yes, food and drinks will be covered throughout the weekend.

Do we play on the United Center Ice?
Yes, the championship game will be played at the United Center.

How will the teams be chosen?
We will be dividing the teams up based on past playing experience and skill level so that they are as even as possible. If you have a few guys entering the tournament, just let us know and we can make sure you are on the same team.

Do I need hockey experience and full equipment?
Yes, you need full equipment and hockey experience. We will be providing gloves, helmet, shell, jerseys and socks.

What equipment do I need?
Skates, Stick, Pants, Shin Pads, Elbow pads, Cup, (shoulder pads optional)

Will Alumni be with us throughout the weekend?
Yes, the Alumni players and coaches will be attending as many events as they can throughout the weekend. There are a few scheduling conflicts, but for the most part they will be at all events.

If I sign up this year will I have first access to next year's cup?
Yes, participants in the 2022 Cup will have first access to the 2023 Cup.

How many goalies will be on each team?
There will be one goalie on each team unless otherwise specified

I am a goalie, what equipment do I get?
You will get two Jerseys and a top-of-the-line Goalie Stick

How many spots are available? Is it first come, first served?
There are 16 spots available per team. 9 forwards, 6 defense and 1 goalie. The teams are filled first come, first served.

Can I choose which Blackhawks Alumni plays on my team?
No, but we will try to accommodate requests which can be made on your registration form.
