The 3rd annual Buffalo Sabres Hockey School will provide participants a unique and positive experience both on and off the ice. The week-long camp will be skill development focused, in an effort to increase each participant's enjoyment of the game. Some features included during the week are:

  • 2.5 Hours of ice daily - 12.5 hours total
  • Daily Off ice training
  • Daily Off ice skills/activity
  • Special Appearances by members of Buffalo Sabres Organization
  • Appearance by Sabretooth
  • Buffalo Sabres Locker Room tour
  • Daily Lunch Included
  • Buffalo Sabres branded jersey
  • Buffalo Sabres branded t-shirt
  • 5 to 1 player to coach ratio

Camp 1:   July 20 - 24
Camp 2:   July 27 - 31
Camp 3:   August 3 - 7
Camp 4:   August 10 - 14

Monday - Friday
8:30am - 4:00pm

LECOM Harborcenter- Buffalo, N.Y.
 

Who:   

Each camp will consist of 60 Total players, which will be split into two groups. Registration will consist of players from the following birth years:

  • 2007 - 2012

    Do I need to be an AAA player to participate? 

    No. The Buffalo Sabres Hockey School is open to players of all skill levels and abilities. Participants must know how to skate.

     

    Is the camp open to boys and girls?

    Yes. Both boys and girls can participate in our camps.

     

    Who will be instructing the on-ice portion of the camp?

    This summer, our staff will consist of members of the Buffalo Sabres Alumni, the Academy of Hockey, professional women's players and others. Each day/week may contain a few different guest coaches. Our instructors strive to make all players better by teaching proper technique in a fun and safe environment, while providing instant feedback and correction when required.
    Additionally, each age group will have two team leaders that will stay with them all day to ensure they arrive to different activities on time and support them with any needs they may have.

    10:15 a.m. Locker Room - Change
    10:30 a.m. IMPACT off ice training
    11:45 a.m. Lunch
    12:30 p.m. Locker Room - Dress
    1:00 p.m. On Ice Session
    2:15 p.m. Locker Room - Change
    2:30 p.m. Off Ice Activity
    3:45 p.m. Closing Meeting
    4:00 p.m. Dismissal

     

    What type of Buffalo Sabres experience should I expect?

    The Buffalo Sabres Hockey School will feature guest appearances by past and/or current members of the Buffalo Sabres organization. Also, each participant will receive a Bufflao Sabres Summer Hockey Camp jersey and t-shirt.
    Each week, all participants will get a chance to see how the team gets ready to practice and play each day by taking a tour the Buffalo Sabres locker room and training facility.
    **Please note that not all camps will feature an appearance by a current Buffalo Sabres player.
