Tom Taylor Wilson Cast Away

The Wilsons have made fire.

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson and wife Taylor took to social media to announce the arrival of their second child and show off a pretty amazing Halloween costume in a single post.

Since the couple shares a name with perhaps the most famous volleyball in the history of cinema, they invoked the 2000 Tom Hanks mega-hit movie "Cast Away."

Taylor was dressed as, well... Wilson. She wore a white tank top with the sporting goods company's logo and a likeness of the famous hand print - fashioned into a drawing of a face in the movie so the stranded Chuck Noland (played by Hanks) had someone to talk to - right over her baby bump.

Bonus points for this costume because Taylor (née: Pischke) is a champion pro volleyball player, having won seven Canadian national titles.

Tom Wilson, meanwhile, dressed as the movie's main character for the portion of it when he was stranded, including stained cut-up shirt, cargo shorts and a long wig and beard.

He even added the great detail of holding a FedEx box, the company Noland worked for in the movie.

Taylor Wilson captioned the photo of the couple: "Baby WILSONNNNN! #2 coming March 2027"

Hopefully the pair were headed to a Halloween party with a costume contest, because this one is definitely a winner.
