Brunson Igor jersey

Nothing like a little respect between Madison Square Garden roommates.

New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson wore a home blue Igor Shesterkin jersey into the building both superstars call home on Monday night before the defending NBA champions played the Minnesota Timberwolves in a preseason game.

The Knicks shared a photo of Brunson's fit, which the Rangers clearly appreciated on social media.

Shesterkin, the 2022 Vezina Trophy winner, was injured against Washington Capitals on Friday. On Saturday the Rangers announced that the star goalie would miss the remainder of the season.

Brunson, the 2026 NBA Finals MVP who led the Knicks to their first championship in 53 years back in June, didn't speak about his wardrobe choice on his way into the Garden but the implied message was clear: Get well, Igor.
