Adam Purner

Video Analyst

Purner began his career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) as video coach for the Portland Winterhawks in 2015-16. He spent five seasons with the Winterhawks before moving to the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2020-21, joining the Binghamton Devils. In 2021 he won a silver medal in the World Championships with Team USA’s women's squad. Purner continued his AHL career for five seasons, with stints at both the Utica Comets (2021-22) and the Hershey Bears (2022 to 2025). He played a key role in helping the Bears capture back-to-back Calder Cup championships in 2023 and 2024. This season marks his first with the Kraken and as a video coach in the NHL.
