Marshall Warren has been returned to the Bridgeport Islanders on loan, the New York Islanders announced on Friday morning.

The defenseman played eight NHL games for the Islanders and notched three assists, seven shots on goal, seven hits and five blocked shots, averaging 11:29 TOI.

The Lauren Hollow native made his home ice debut at UBS Arena on Dec. 23 in a 2-1 win over the New Jersey Devils.

The 24-year-old has 12 points (3G, 9A) for Bridgeport this season.
