The Dallas Stars Stick with Reading program encourages elementary students to foster a love for reading outside the classroom. Classes with the highest average minutes read each month may be eligible for prizes. Bring hockey to your elementary school! Give your 4th and 5th grade classes the opportunity to learn floorball hockey from professionals through the Fitness Stars program. Physical Education teachers can apply for a PE visit from the Dallas Stars Xtreme Team. Students will learn the ins and outs of floorball hockey from NHL alumni during this educational program. Participating schools receive floorball equipment donations to integrate into curriculum.
The Future Goals program brings math and science to life through using Hockey Scholar, a web-based program that leverages the game of hockey to teach foundational math and science concepts.
