Foundation Programs

Stick With Reading

The Dallas Stars Stick with Reading program encourages elementary students to foster a love for reading outside the classroom. Classes with the highest average minutes read each month may be eligible for prizes. Teachers can register their classes throughout the school year to participate in this free, incentive-based program. To contact the Foundation with questions, click here.

Fitness Stars

Bring hockey to your elementary school! Give your 4th and 5th grade classes the opportunity to learn floorball hockey from professionals through the Fitness Stars program. Physical Education teachers can apply for a PE visit from the Dallas Stars Xtreme Team. Students will learn the ins and outs of floorball hockey from NHL alumni during this educational program. Participating schools receive floorball equipment donations to integrate into curriculum.

Future Goals

The Future Goals program brings math and science to life through using Hockey Scholar, a web-based program that leverages the game of hockey to teach foundational math and science concepts.

Community Tickets

The community tickets program allows our organization and our Victory Club Members the opportunity to enrich the community by donating their tickets to various charities and civic programs throughout the area.

Victory Club Members and corporations who donate some of their tickets back to the Foundation are eligible for a tax receipt, with their contribution being 100 percent tax deductible. Through the generosity of our Victory Club Members and their ticket donations to the Foundation's Community Tickets Program, many non-profit organizations have the opportunity to spread the excitement of Dallas Stars hockey to their employees, volunteers and designated beneficiaries. If you're interested in donating your tickets, please email [email protected].
