In 2022-23, the Habs welcome a new name to the team.

The Montreal Canadiens and the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) have announced a five-year jersey partnership agreement, which will see the RBC logo sewn on Canadiens player home jerseys.

The patch will be worn for all preseason, regular season, and postseason games at the Bell Centre, and weaves together two global brands with storied histories - RBC was founded in 1864 and the Canadiens in 1909.

Jerseys will only be sold with the RBC logo upon request. Fans wishing to have the patch added can learn how to do so at no extra cost below.

Wear what the players wear and grow the game

Fans looking to stay as authentic as possible to their on-ice heroes can add the RBC patch free of charge to any official home jersey purchased in-person at a Tricolore Sports location, or by phone at 514-989-2836.

For every fan who chooses to add the RBC patch to their in-store or telephone jersey purchase, $20 will be donated to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, which encourages physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among underprivileged youth in Quebec.

Note that online orders cannot be customized with the RBC logo.

The addition of the RBC patch comes as part of the NHL's newly-launched Jersey Advertising Program, which allows teams to sell advertising on their game jerseys beginning with the 2022-23 season.

Can I buy a home jersey with the RBC logo on it?
