The St. Louis Blues Heritage Jersey was first unveiled at Ice Breaker on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at Ballpark Village.
Borrowing heavily from the team's inaugural uniforms from the 1967-68 season (and from the jersey worn during the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic), the new sweater features the original Blue Note emblem on top of a vintage light blue base with original gold and white stripes along the sleeves and waistline.
Sometimes, there's just no need to mess with an original.
Vladimir Tarasenko:
"It's nice we have a third jersey that's connected to the team's history. When you look at the past years, you see the players who wore this jersey before and it just gives you more responsibility. It's more fun for fans when you have more than two jerseys, and I really like the design. I think fans will like it."
Alexander Steen:
"This is my favorite jersey in the NHL. Period."
Colton Parayko:
"Just the overall look of this jersey, especially how it pays tribute to the original Blues uniforms, is great. I loved wearing this look at the Winter Classic, and I look forward to wearing it again this season."
