The NHL season is underway and the St. Louis Blues are finally back at Enterprise Center as they host the San Jose Sharks at 7 p.m. in the team's Home Opener (ESPN+, Hulu, Disney+, 101 ESPN).

The Blues opened the season on the road and return home looking to improve upon their 1-2-0 record. And they believe the crowd can provide an extra spark as they celebrate the home opener.

"I expect it to be pretty awesome," said Head Coach Jim Montgomery. "Blues fans are walking around town the last month, they can't wait for the season to start. So I think it's going to be really loud here. I think the fans are really excited about the new additions, and they're excited to see our team play."

Defenseman Justin Barron is expected to make his Blues debut on Thursday. He'll go in for Theo Lindstein to partner Colton Parayko.

Barron joined the Blues on Sept. 27 after being claimed off waivers from the Nashville Predators but has yet to see game action with his new team.

"A little bit more of a veteran presence," Montgomery said of what Barron brings to the lineup. "You watch him out there, he does everything at an NHL level. He moves the puck, he skates, his reads. I think he's going to help with a lot of calmness and poise out there."

The below lineup is based on Thursday's morning skate at Enterprise Center.
