What You Are Funding
All proceeds raised during this year’s Blues for Kids Casino Night will fund the purchase and installation of the AngelEye Camera System that will allow families with a newborn in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Louis Children’s Hospital the ability to see their baby at any time on the beside camera, as well as connect with the NICU staff through real-time texts, photos and videos via an accompanying touch screen.
This technology will ease the impossible burden on the parents who must work and care for their other children outside of the hospital while their newborn is in the NICU.
Families can easily access AngelEye through a free app on any computer, tablet, or smartphone – and is also secure and compliant with patient privacy regulations. This technology instantly eases worries for families and improves communication with medical staff.
