Jason Pominville Hot Player of the Week

Wild forward Jason Pominville earned the Bryant Hot Player of the Week after completing an eight-point week that also earned him the NHL's First Star of the Week. 

Pominville tied a career high with four points, including two goals and two assists in Minnesota's 4-2 in Winnipeg on Feb. 7. Pominville also dished out single assists the following night against Chicago and on Feb. 10 versus Tampa Bay before chipping in with two assists in a 6-3 Wild victory over Detroit on Feb. 12. He finished the week with a plus-5 rating.

Forwards Mikko Koivu and Jason Zucker and defenseman Ryan Suter are this week's nominees.

Koivu had two assists in Minnesota's 3-1 win over the Dallas Stars on Feb. 16 then scored a goal and added another assist in a win over the Nashville Predators on feb. 18. The goal against Nashville marked his 600th career point in the NHL. He finished the game a plus-3 and was a plus-4 in three games last week.

Zucker also reach a career milestone this week, scoring Minnesota's second goal in the win over the Predators for his 100th NHL point. Zucker also assisted on Koivu's tally then scored a crucial insurance goal late in the third period to put the win away. Zucker was also a plus-3 in the game and for the week.

Suter beat the clock in the win over Dallas, scoring a goal with 0.8 seconds remaining in the first period to get Minnesota on the board. Two nights later, Suter had two assists and a plus-3 rating in the win over Nashville. Suter finished the week plus-5 and atop the NHL's plus/minus chart (plus-35).
