2025-26 REGULAR-SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:  

  • Led all Sabres skaters in goals (40) and points (81) and ranked second in assists (41).  

  • Ranked tied for second among all NHL skaters in 5-on-5 goals (31) and tied for fifth in even-strength goals (34). 

  • Scored at a point per game rate in a season for the second time in his career (94 points in 78 games in 2022-23).  

  • Posted 40 or more goals in a single season for the third time in his career and joined Danny Gare (3), Pat LaFontaine (3), Rick Martin (5) and Gilbert Perreault (3) as the only skaters in franchise history to accomplish that feat.  

  • Recorded the 400th point of his NHL career on March 27 vs. Detroit.  

  • Registered his 35th goal of 2025-26 on March 19 at San Jose and became fifth Sabres skater all-time to record four or more seasons with at least 35 goals, joining Dave Andreychuk (5), Danny Gare (4), Rick Martin (7) and Gilbert Perreault (6).  

  • Compiled 176 scoring chances at 5-on-5, the most among all Sabres skaters, according to Natural Stat Trick. 

  • Earned the longest point streak of his career from Jan. 31 to March 8 (11 games, 6+9). 

  • Tallied a single-game career-high four assists on March 8 vs. Tampa Bay.

  • Represented Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics and recorded four points (3+1) en route to winning the gold medal.  

  • Appeared in his 500th NHL game on Jan. 27 at Toronto.  

  • Became the 13th Buffalo skater all-time, and the first since Thomas Vanek on April 2, 2011, to reach 200 goals with Buffalo on Jan. 24 at NY Islanders.  

  • Matched the longest assist streak of his career (six games) from Jan. 8 to 17 (eight assists). 

  • Reached the 200-goal mark in his 458th game played with Buffalo and became the eighth skater (Dave Andreychuk, Mike Foligno, Danny Gare, Rick Martin, Gilbert Perreault, Rene Robert, Thomas Vanek) in Sabres history to reach 200 goals within their first 500 games with Buffalo.  

  • Scored the 200th goal of his NHL career and recorded five or more points in a single game for the third time in his career on Jan. 15 vs. Montreal. 

  • Notched two six-game goal streaks from Nov. 13 to 23 (six goals) and Dec. 8 to 20 (six goals), both of which are the longest such streaks of his career.
