READY FOR VEGAS
Having played the Golden Knights just ten days ago, the Jets will be prepared for a team that is first in the NHL in goals scored in the opening 20 minutes. Vegas jumped out to a 4-0 lead the last time Winnipeg was at T-Mobile Arena and the Jets could not overcome that even though they played a solid final two periods in the 5-2 setback. The Golden Knights don't give up a lot and that means Winnipeg will have to be patient like they were in Tempe on Friday night. Don't try to win the game on one shift.

PERFETTI DEVELOPMENT
Cole Perfetti scored a key goal in the first period on Friday helping pull the Jets to within one goal of the Arizona Coyotes heading into the intermission. Perfetti now has points in five of his last six games. The Ontario product had a tough game in Los Angeles thanks to the team taking four penalties in the first period and wasn't able to get into a groove. The fact that he was able to bounce back so quickly from an off night speaks to his maturity.
FLIPPING CENTRES
Scott Arniel made a quick change in the game on Friday moving Mark Scheifele between Blake Wheeler and Cole Perfetti and Pierre-Luc Dubois with Kyle Connor and Mason Appleton. The Jets seemingly took over from that point on.
"Pretty lucky to have the type of centremen that we have. You go from Dubby to Scheif, you feel pretty luck in those situations," said Wheeler after the win on Friday.
"Every once in a while, your game gets a little stale or you need to score a goal or you need a little bit of life on the bench. Those mix-ups are good. It was a good switch by him."
