Osbourne in Blues shirt

The St. Louis Blues will always be on the “Crazy Train.”

The team honored Ozzy Osbourne, who died Tuesday, with a post on social media. The rock and roll legend was a well-known Blues fan.

Back in 2019, Osbourne posted a photo of himself wearing a Blues jersey before Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Blues would go on win the Cup that night.

The Blues reposted that photo on Tuesday with the message, “St. Louis loves you, Ozzy. RIP.”

Some might say that photo is the second most famous picture of Osbourne in a Blues jersey.

Back in 1984, while Osbourne was on tour, he picked up a Blues jersey after performing in St. Louis. A few weeks later, he was arrested with the shirt on, which meant his mug shots included the jersey.

He was released after just a few hours in custody, but from then on Osbourne became a Blues legend. The photo resurfaced again as the Blues made their Stanley Cup run in 2019.

It’s a moment and a picture that will be remembered forever, much like the rock star himself.
