NHL Fan Survey Privacy Notice
Thank you for participating in the National Hockey League Ticket Buyer Trends Study (the “Survey”)! Your feedback is very important and will help us enhance future experiences with the National Hockey League Member Club from which you purchased your ticket (“the Club”). The National Hockey League (“NHL”) has engaged National Research Group (“NRG”), a research service provider, to administer this optional survey on behalf of its teams (or “Member Clubs”). The NHL and the Member Club from whom you purchased a ticket may use your survey responses in combination with other information about you to better understand the fan and ticketing experience and to customize and improve marketing communications, services, and advertising. In addition, if you complete the survey, your name and email address may also be used to send you a Shop.NHL.com discount code and/or enter you into NHL’s contest/sweepstakes (including to notify you in the event you win). Please see relevant program rules for more information.
Your participation in the survey is optional, although to complete it you may be required to answer some questions. This survey includes certain optional demographic questions (such as your age, gender, and household composition, income, and size). These questions are marked “optional" and you have the option to leave them blank or select “prefer not to answer.” By electing to respond to these optional demographic questions, you are expressly providing your consent to the collection and processing of your responses to these questions for the purpose described in this notice. Note that the survey also contains certain “free response” questions that are likewise entirely optional to answer, but if you do provide a response in these free fields, please do not provide any personal information about you or any other person.
If you have any questions regarding the treatment of personal information by the Member Clubs or for information on how to exercise your privacy choices (including how to withdraw your consent), please review the relevant Member Club’s privacy policy here. For information about the NHL’s privacy practices (including how to withdraw your consent), please visit our Privacy Policy available at https://www.nhl.com/info/privacy-policy or contact us at [email protected].
