Devils defensive prospect Seamus Caset has been named to his second consecutive American Hockey League All-Star Classic.

Casey, 24, was named as part of the All-Stars North team, which will compete at the 2026 AHL All-Star Challenge on Wednesday, Feb. 11. The classic will be a 3-on-3, round-robin tournament featuring six games of eight minutes each.

Seamus was an All-Star in 2025 but was unable to participate due to injury.

The big reveal happened on Thursday.

Toward the tail end of Comets' practice on Thursday, the lights suddenly went out, before the dashboards began to display a message.

“Hey Seamus,” it read, before changing to “Got any plans for February 11th?”

His teammates starts to tap their sticks, before the dashboards changed once again to

“You’re an All-Star!”

"It is a tribute to my teammates and how we've played," Casey told the Rome Sentinel shortly after the on-ice announcement. "There's a lot of guys that could have gotten the selection and guys that I think deserve it."
