Game On is a free & fully mobile street hockey initiative created to promote & grow the game of hockey throughout the state of Colorado. At each Game On event, all participants are eligible to receive a FREE Avalanche branded street hockey stick and ball.
Most events will provide open opportunities to play inside the inflatable rink or shoot at the Avalanche shooting target. At some events, there will be hockey instruction provided by the Colorado Avalanche Amateur Hockey Development Staff consisting of street hockey etiquette, basic hockey skills, station work and scrimmage play.
Last summer, over 6,000 participants were introduced to the game of hockey through the Game On program.
The Colorado Avalanche Street League is a 5-week program designed for beginner or intermediate hockey players looking to take their street hockey skills to the next level! This is a co-ed street hockey program including drills and instruction as well as non-competitive game play. Registration is now open for our Spring sessions in Arvada and Denver with sessions starting on May 21st and May 23rd respectively. Register now and get in the game.
