MONTREAL – The Canadiens dropped a 4-3 decision to the Anaheim Ducks at the Bell Centre on Sunday.

Cutter Gauthier’s winner with 2:30 remaining was the difference in a heartbreaking loss for Montreal.

Cole Caufield inched closer to the 40-goal plateau with his 39^th of the season on Sunday, while Alex Newhook and Nick Suzuki also found the back of the net against the Ducks.

Jacob Fowler made 24 saves in the loss.
