Assistant Coach

Chris Kelly is in his second season with the Bruins as an Assistant Coach and his fourth season with the Bruins organization, as he returned to the club in the position of Player Development Coordinator on July 18, 2019.

The Toronto native had started his post-playing career as the Development Coach with the Ottawa Senators. He was drafted by the Senators in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft and spent most of his first four professional seasons in the AHL before breaking into the NHL to stay in 2005-06. He went on to enjoy a 13-year NHL career with Ottawa, Boston, and Anaheim with career NHL totals of 123 goals and 168 assists for 291 points in 845 games. His 288-game Bruins career included 43-58=101 totals from 2011-16 and he was a key figure with 5-8=13 totals in the 25 games of Boston's 2011 Stanley Cup championship run. He also won a Bronze medal with Team Canada as he captained that squad in the 2018 Olympic Games.
