Hockey Fights Cancer Night

This season the Boston Bruins hosted Hockey Fights Cancer Night presented by Lahey Health at TD Garden. The team wore their customized lavender Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys during their pre-game skate against the Vancouver Canucks in support of those affected by cancer. Lavender represents awareness for all forms of cancer.

Hockey Fights Cancer is an initiative founded in December 1998 by the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association to raise money and awareness for hockey's most important fight.

BBF will held a silent auction and raffle for the player's warm up worn lavender jerseys with all proceeds benefiting the Boston Bruins Foundation. The silent auction was held on both October 19th and October 21st. Mystery autographed lavender pucks were also available for $20.


I Fight For

Boston Bruins fans who attened the game had the opportunity to personalize "I Fight For" cards prior to the start of the game and leading up to the first intermission.

The cards were available to purchase at turnstiles, the Community Relations table behind Loge 4, and at tables located on the Loge and Balcony concourses, Fans will be invited to display their "I Fight For" cards during a Moment of Recognition.

The Boston Bruins foundation distributed all proceeds to Boston's local treatment hospitals.

Season Ticket Holders & Game Plan Holders: Donate your tickets

Season Ticket Holders or Game Plan Holders who had tickets, to Hockey Fights Cancer Night against the Canucks, can donate their seats to local First Responders by logging into Account Manager and clicking on 'Manage My Tickets - Donate to Charity.' The Boston Bruins will donate all tickets to local Health Care Professionals.

Purchase tickets for local Healthcare Professionals

local healthcare professional or purchasing tickets to give local healthcare professionals and their families a chance to attend Hockey Fights Cancer Night Ticket prices started at $50.

Nominate a Caregiver

Bruins fans had the opportunity to nominate a caregiver who has gone above and beyond the help in the fight against cancer. A lucky winner was chosen to receive four (4) tickets to attend Hockey Fights Cancer Night presented by Lahey Health. The nomination period has now closed for this season.
