Heather Stevens

From the western suburbs of Chicago, Heather moved to Washington DC to run Division 1 cross country for George Washington University. It was there that she discovered how much strength conditioning could improve her distance running performance. Heather trained under Olympic level runners and worked with some of the top professionals in the sport, developing techniques to overcome performance plateaus, mental blocks, and develop a love for the challenging moments that inevitably come with training.

Upon graduating, Heather trained in vinyasa yoga, received a 200 RYT yoga certification and, shortly thereafter, a group fitness certification to keep fitness a part of her life. Heather's classes are energetic and no nonsense. She loves turning up remixed pop hits and helping clients zone into their workout. After eight years as a competitive runner and four as an instructor in the fitness industry and a cross country coach, Heather is eager to pass along her knowledge and enthusiasm for a happy and healthy lifestyle.
