Iowa Wild 2014-15 Record: 12-20-1-1, 26 points, Fifth Place in West Division

The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, split its two road games last weekend. Iowa suffered a 3-0 shutout loss against Rochester on Friday at Blue Cross Arena (1/2). G Johan Gustafsson made 21-of-23 saves. The Wild won, 2-1, against the Comets at Utica Memorial Arena on Saturday (1/3). F Jordan Schroeder led the team with two points (1-1=2) and F Zack Mitchell registered his second game-winning goal of the week while G John Curry made 27 saves. D Matt Dumba was named to the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic on Tuesday, becoming the first player in team history to receive such honors. F Michael Keranen leads the team in scoring with 25 points (5-20=25) in 34 games. Schroeder (10-14=24) and F Tyler Graovac (12-12=24) rank T-2nd with 24 points each. Gustafsson is 6-13-1 with a 3.43 GAA and a .893 SV% in 21 games. Curry is 6-6-0 with a 2.70 GAA and a .920 SV% in 14 games. The Wild completes its four-game road trip with stops in Texas (Fri.) and San Antonio (Sat.) this week.

Canadian Hockey Leagues

C Reid Duke - Brandon (WHL): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded eight PIM in three games last week.

D Tanner Faith - Kootenay (WHL): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft is currently sidelined with an upper body injury.

D Dylan Labbe
- Shawinigan (QMJHL): The fourth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota recorded an assist in three games last week.

C Pavel Jenys - Sudbury (OHL): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied a goal and four PIM in three games last week.

C Chase Lang
- Calgary (WHL): The sixth-round pick for Minnesota in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft registered two points (1-1=2) in three games last week.

D Hunter Warner - Prince Albert (WHL): The defensemen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota is expected to miss the rest of the season due to shoulder surgery.

College/USHL/High School

D Louis Belpedio - Miami University of Ohio (NCHC): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded an assist and a plus-4 rating in two games as Miami won its weekend series at Rensselaer.

D Nolan De Jong - Michigan (Big Ten): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft has four assists in 14 games this season.

D John Draeger - Michigan State (Big Ten): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft has two assists in 14 games this season.

C Adam Gilmour - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's fourth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft registered two power-play goals and an assist in two games last weekend.

LW Mario Lucia - Notre Dame (Hockey East): The second-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota ranks third in the conference in goals while ranking second on Notre Dame in scoring.

LW Louis Nanne
- Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (ECAC): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft has not played in RPI’s last three games due to injury (Dec. 30-current).

C Avery Peterson - Nebraska Omaha (NCHC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft recorded an assist and four shots on goal in two games as Nebraska Omaha split its weekend series vs. New Hampshire.

D Carson Soucy - Minnesota Duluth (NCHC): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in 2013 NHL Entry Draft registered three assists in two games as Minnesota Duluth won both exhibition games at Lakehead last weekend.

RW Alex Tuch - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied three shots in his return to the lineup as Boston earned a 3-2 win at Dartmouth (Jan. 3).

Europe

C Christoph Bertschy - SC Bern (Swiss): Minnesota's sixth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft registered an assist and four PIM in two games last week and ranks T-2nd on the team in goals and fifth in points.

D Pontus Sjalin
- Leksands J20 (Super Elit): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft ranks third on the team in assists.

Goaltenders

Alexandre Belanger
- Cape-Breton (QMJHL): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft was traded to Cape-Breton from Nouyn-Noranda on Jan. 5 and went 2-1-0 in two games last week.

Kaapo Kahkonen - TUTO Turku (Mestis): Minnesota's fourth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft was Finland’s third goalie during the 2015 IIHF World Juniors.

Steve Michalek - Harvard (ECAC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft ranks second in the conference in GAA and in SV%.
