Iowa Wild 2014-15 Record: 13-22-1-1, 28 points, Fifth Place in West Division
The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, went 1-2-0 in three games last week. The Wild earned a 2-1 win against the Texas Stars at Cedar Park Center on Friday (1/9). LW Brett Bulmer and D Stu Bickel scored and F Michael Keranen had two assists. G Johan Gustafsson made 35 saves to earn the win. Iowa suffered an 8-3 loss against the San Antonio Rampage at AT&T Center on Saturday (1/10). F Zach Mitchell (1-1=2) and RW Marc Hagel (1-1=2) led the Wild with two points while D Matt Dumba also scored. Gustafsson stopped 37-of-43 shots. The Wild fell to the Chicago Wolves 3-0 on Tuesday at Wells Fargo Arena (1/13). Gustafsson made 35 saves. Keranen leads the team in scoring with 27 points (5-22=27) in 37 games. F Tyler Graovac ranks second with 25 points (12-13=25) and C Jordan Schroeder ranks third with 24 points (10-14=24). Gustafsson is 7-15-1 with a 3.40 GAA and a .897 SV% in 24 games. G John Curry is 6-6-0 with a 2.70 GAA and a .920 SV% in 14 games. The Wild will play three games this week, visiting Rockford (Fri.) and hosting Lake Erie (Sat. and Sun.).

Canadian Hockey Leagues

C Reid Duke - Brandon (WHL): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded an assist in three games last week.

D Tanner Faith - Kootenay (WHL): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft is currently sidelined with an upper body injury.

D Dylan Labbe - Shawinigan (QMJHL): The fourth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota recorded three assists in two games last week.

C Pavel Jenys - Sudbury (OHL): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft extended his point streak to four games (2-2=4), after tallying three points (1-2=3) in three games last week.

C Chase Lang - Calgary (WHL): The sixth-round pick for Minnesota in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft registered two points (1-1=2) and four PIM in three games last week.

D Hunter Warner - Prince Albert (WHL): The defensemen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota is expected to miss the rest of the season due to shoulder surgery.

College/USHL/High School

D Louis Belpedio - Miami University of Ohio (NCHC): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded an assist in two games as Miami lost its weekend series at St. Cloud State.

D Nolan De Jong - Michigan (Big Ten): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft did not play in Michigan’s weekend series vs. the University of Minnesota.

D John Draeger - Michigan State (Big Ten): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft has two assists in 14 games this season.

C Adam Gilmour - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's fourth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft registered three points (2-1=3) in two games as Boston College spit its weekend series against Northeastern.

LW Mario Lucia - Notre Dame (Hockey East): The second-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota recorded three points (2-1=3) in two games as Notre Dame lost its home-and-home series against Western Michigan.

LW Louis Nanne - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (ECAC): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft returned to the lineup and tallied two shots on net in RPI’s two games last weekend.

C Avery Peterson - Nebraska Omaha (NCHC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft recorded three points (1-2=3) in two games as Nebraska Omaha won its weekend series vs. Denver.

D Carson Soucy - Minnesota Duluth (NCHC): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in 2013 NHL Entry Draft registered a goal and two PIM in two games as Minnesota Duluth split its weekend series at North Dakota.

RW Alex Tuch - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied an assist in Boston College’s home-and-home series against Northeastern.

Europe

C Christoph Bertschy - SC Bern (Swiss): Minnesota's sixth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft registered a goal and two PIM in two games last week...Ranks T-2nd on the team in goals and fifth in points.

D Pontus Sjalin - Leksands J20 (Super Elit): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft ranks third on the team in assists with 13.

Goaltenders

Alexandre Belanger - Cape-Breton (QMJHL): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft stopped 17-of-18 shots to earn his first win as a Screaming Eagle at Acadie-Bathurst (1/9).

Kaapo Kahkonen - TUTO Turku (Mestis): Minnesota's fourth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft is on loan to TUTO from Blues (Liiga).

- Harvard (ECAC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft earned just second regulation loss of the season as Harvard snapped an eight-game winning streak, falling to Yale 4-1 (1/10).
