IOWA WILD 2015-16 RECORD: 4-18-1-3, 12 POINTS

The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, went 1-2-0 in three games last week, including a split in its back-to-back contests against the Lake Erie Monsters. The Wild earned a 4-2 win in the first match against the Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday (12/3). F Zack Mitchell led the Wild with three points (1-2=3). D Christian Folin (1-1=2) and F Grayson Downing (1-1=2) recorded two points each while F Jordan Schroeder netted a goal. G Leland Irving earned the win with 31 saves.

Iowa dropped the second contest at Lake Erie, 3-1 on Friday (12/4). F Jared Knight scored the lone goal for the Wild with an assist from F Raphael Bussieres. Irving stopped 19-of-21 shots.

The Wild fell 5-3 against the Chicago Wolves at Wells Fargo Arena on Tuesday (12/8). Schroeder (1-1=2) and F Michael Keranen (0-2=2) led Iowa with two points each. Mitchell and F Christoph Bertschy also scored a goal apiece while Irving made 26 saves.

Mitchell leads Iowa with 13 points (8-5=13) in 26 games and ranks T-1st in the AHL with two shorthanded goals and T-7th with three first goals. Downing (6-6=12), Keranen (5-7=12) and Bertschy (3-9=12) rank T-2nd on the team with 12 points each. Downing ranks T-14th in the league in rookie scoring. Irving is 3-9-3 with a 2.72 GAA, .916 SV% and one shutout in 16 games and is fourth in the league with 450 saves and eighth in minutes played (903). Smith is 1-9-1 with a 3.33 GAA and a .908 SV% in 12 games.

The Wild will travel to Rockford on Friday, host Grand Rapids on Sunday and visit Charlotte on Tuesday in its three games this week.

D Gustav Bouramman - Sault Ste. Marie (OHL): Tallied four assists and four penalty minutes in three games last week…On a four-game point streak (0-5=5)…Leads Sault Ste. C Reid Duke - Brandon (WHL): Scored four points (3-1=4) and seven penalty minutes in four games last week…Owns nine points (6-3=9) in the last 10 contests…Ranks T-5th in the WHL in game-winning goals (4) and T-13th in goals…Ranks second on the team in goals, T-3rd in plus/minus rating and sixth in points…Wild’s sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

D Tanner Faith - Moose Jaw (WHL): Recorded two assists, a plus-4 rating and two penalty minutes in two games last week…He has set career highs in assists and points this season, his two goals are tied for his career-best…Ranks second amongst Warriors defensemen in goals and assists and is T-2nd in scoring while fifth on the team in penalty minutes…Serving as an alternate captain this season…Acquired by Moose Jaw from the Kootenay Ice (9/23)…Minnesota’s fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

C Pavel Jenys - Niagara (OHL): Earned his first points with Niagara, tallying two assists and two penalty minutes in three games last week…Traded to Niagara Icedogs (11/23)…Started the season with the Sudbury Wolves, totaling 12 points (4-8=12) and 16 penalty minutes in 24 games…Wild’s seventh-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

C Chase Lang - Vancouver (WHL): Registered seven points (3-4=7) and a plus-5 rating in four games last week…Has tallied at least one point in 13-of-18 games with the Giants, totaling 18 points (6-12=18)…Leads the team in scoring and assists, second in goals and is fourth in penalty minutes…Traded to the Vancouver Giants from Calgary (10/27)…Registered seven points (2-5=7) and 20 penalty minutes in 14 games with the Hitmen…Minnesota’s sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

D Hunter Warner - Prince Albert (WHL): Tallied four penalty minutes in four games…Ranks second on the team in penalty minutes and is third amongst defensemen in assists and third in scoring…Netted his first WHL goal against Rylan Parenteau in the Raiders’ 3-2 overtime loss vs. Victoria (10/30)…Signed as a free agent with the Wild, September 23, 2014.
