The Minnesota Wild and Edmonton Oilers close out another wonderful month of MOvember with a game in Edmonton on Wednesday night. Wednesday will also mark the final day of the Wild vs. Oilers MoGro Faceoff between these enemy teams who are teaming up to fight against cancers affecting men.
Fittingly, we cap off the fun with the MoCaptains Division. Nick Schultz, who really helped spearhead the Movember movement two years ago and is the team's Movember captain, will go up against Sam Gagner, who led the Oilers Movember charge.
The photos of each combatant will be posted on Facebook, and fans are encouraged to comment on which player owns the best 'stache. The ultimate method of judging the winner is to see which team can raise the most Movember donations from now until the end of the month.
The first pairing last Monday featured the MoMasters Division with Cal Clutterbuck
going up against Darcy Hordichuk. Round 2 focused on the young guys as Jared Spurgeon
faced off with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in the MoKids Division. That was followed by Mikko Koivu
meeting up with Anton Lander in the EuroMo Division. And in the last battle of players facing their former team, Kyle Brodziak
went stache to stache with Cam Barker.
Since the MoGro Faceoff contest started on Monday, the Wild has raised $2,759 to support the fight against cancers affecting men. We've got two more days to get this done and come up with a double victory over the Oilers on Wednesday. So do your duty and donate some cash for a good cause on Nick 's Movember page right here
