Greater Twin Cities United Way is a non-profit organization that funds over 225 health and human service agencies in the Twin Cities nine-county area.  Greater Twin Cities United Way identifies the most critical community issues and then works to improve lives and strengthens our entire community in three main areas: Nurturing Children & Families, Meeting Basic Needs and Supporting Health & Independence.  United Way helps nurture children and families by preparing kids for school, helping them succeed and by helping families feel safe and supported.  They help people meet their basic needs by reducing hunger and long-term homelessness in the Twin Cities metro.  They also support health and independence for people in our community by increasing access to healthcare and by assisting seniors and people with disabilities so they can remain independent.
