Superfan Pat Vos was once again the first in line to buy single-game tickets for the Wild this season.
The results are in, and it was another stellar day for Wild single-game ticket buyers. Beginning at 9:00 AM, the general public got its first crack at Wild tickets, and by 9:10 AM, three games were sold out including: the October 4 home opener vs. Chicago, the October 30 game vs. Pittsburgh, and the January 18 game vs. Anaheim.
More than 500 fans were lined up outside the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday morning, with the first being Pat Vos, who began camping out on Wednesday afternoon.
In all, more than 27,400 tickets were sold through the Xcel Energy Center box office and Ticketmaster locations this week.
A limited number of tickets are still available for most remaining Minnesota Wild regular season home games and the club’s three preseason games at Xcel Energy Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office (199 West Kellogg Boulevard), on the Minnesota Wild web site at www.wild.com and at all Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) locations or charge by calling Ticketmaster at (651) 989-5151. The Xcel Energy Center Box Office is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and three hours prior to Sunday events.
The Wild opens the 2007-08 regular season at Xcel Energy Center on Thursday, Oct. 4, against the Chicago Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. Minnesota’s home schedule features 19 weekend games (four on Friday, six on Saturday and nine on Sunday) and three afternoon contests (Nov. 23, Feb. 24 and March 9). Most evening games at Xcel Energy Center will begin at 7:00 p.m.
