Greetings from STAPLES Center as the Wild looks to snap out of its current three-game funk. Marian Gaborik skated on his own this morning and is out for today's contest. Niklas Backstrom will start in net. 21 players took warm-ups so will have to wait for roster announcements to see who the healthy scratch is today. Overcast start to the day here in Los Angeles. I have heard rumors of rain today, but figure that can't be true. It could be worse I guess as I hear it we will be getting more snow back home this weekend. Nice spread of food in the Chick Hearn Press Room. Enjoyed watching the University of Minnesota Duluth take a 21-7 lead in the Division II title game. Go Bulldogs! Dan Terhaar spent most of the Friday at a downtown hospital receiving treatment and an IV among others things as he continues to battle a kidney stone.

This just in, Craig Weller is scratched. Starters are 5, 55 15, 9, 20 and 32

Enjoy the game...
