Postgame Notes vs. Nashville - Feb. 9

RW Devin Setoguchi scored a power-play goal in overtime to give the Wild a 2-1 victory Thursday in front of a sellout crowd of 18,806 fans at Xcel Energy Center Saturday. RW Cal Clutterbuck scored in regulation and G Niklas Backstrom stopped 25-of-26 shots to earn the victory, as the Wild moved to 5-2-0 on home ice this season. The Wild returns to the road with a matchup in Calgary Monday at 8 p.m. CT.

G Niklas Backstrom stopped 25-of-26 shots in the win. After being pulled in Thursday’s game, he moved to 19-2-4 all-time in games after being pulled (non-injury), posting a 1.94 GAA and .932 SV% in those contests. Since March 26, 2008, he is 15-0-2 with a 1.74 GAA and a .940 SV% in those games.

With the winner in overtime, RW Devin Setoguchi netted his first goal of the season, his third point in 11 games this year.

RW Cal Clutterbuck scored his second goal and third point of the season. The Wild is now 39-15-4 when Clutterbuck nets a goal including 26-10-3 at home.

LW Matt Cullen tallied an assist for his fifth point (1-4=5) of the season – his fourth point (1-3=4) in his last five games.

Five of the last six meetings between Minnesota and Nashville have been decided by one goal, with the lone exception being the teams’ last meeting on Jan. 22 when Nashville scored with 17 seconds remaining to claim a 3-1 victory.

Minnesota finished the game in overtime for the second time this season, after falling in a 5-4 overtime loss at St. Louis Jan. 27. The Wild also earned a 3-2 shootout win vs. Chicago on Jan. 30

The Wild moved to 3-0-0 wearing its green jersey this season.
